Salvador

With the support of the City of Salvador, the Secretariat of Culture and Tourism of Salvador, and the Municipal Secretariat for Sustainability and Resilience,

the electric truck transformed Praça Maria Felipa into a powerful stage for connection and exchange.

The program included the roundtable “Climate Justice, Adaptation, and Environmental Racism,” featuring Rodrigo Jesus (Greenpeace), Maicon Borges (Sindiquímica/BA and CUT/BA), Ana Caminha (Gamboa de Baixo Residents’ Association), Thaynah Gutierrez (Anti-Racist Adaptation Network), Christiano Santos (CONNEGRO), and Walter Pinto Jr. (City of Salvador).

The Intergenerational Dialogues connected different generations working toward a more just and collective future, with the participation of Renato Cunha (Gambá), Ludivisk Oliveira (Engajamundo), Monique Lemos (Topo Futures), Pedro Dantas (Ocean Ride), and Paulo de Tarso (Sinergia Bahia).

Culture was celebrated with a concert by singer Sued Nunes, the powerful presence of Band’Erê do Ilê Aiyê, and the vibrant performance by Ministereo Público Sound System.

The stop also featured a Graphic Facilitation Workshop led by Vítor Massao at the Public Archive Lookout, as well as Engajanave, an initiative by Engajamundo that mobilized young people to debate a sustainable future.
