In the open-air space of the Cais do Sertão Museum, with the support of the City of Recife through the Secretariat of Culture,
the truck served as the stage for four roundtable discussions:
“Care, work, and climate in vulnerable territories,” with Lídia Lins (Ibura Mais Cultura), Gabriela Feitosa (Rede Gera), and moderation by Thiago Torres (Chavoso da USP).
“Working to save the world?” with Marcelo Manzano (CESIT/Unicamp), Sarah Marques (Caranguejo Tabaiares Resiste), and moderation by Kamila Camilo (Instituto Oyá).
“Can culture save our future?” with Andréia Coutinho (Brazilian Center for Climate Justice), Luiz Santos (Associação Respeita Januário), and moderation by Luciana Félix (Paço do Frevo).
“What still moves us to dream, create, and resist for tomorrow?” with Alice Piva (Conservation International), Joice Paixão (Associação Gris Espaço Solidário), and moderation by Gabi Vuolo (Aurora Lab).
Recife’s culture came alive with street processions led by Maracatu Nação Aurora Africana and Studio Viegas Frevo, as well as concerts by singer Uana and Pagode do Didi, a cultural heritage group of the city.
